About Me
As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, I apply a range of therapeutic modalities and interventions tailored to each client to support their understanding of themselves and approaches for improving mental wellbeing, resilience, and self-worth. Clients determine the pace of sessions and guide the process, which promotes autonomy and a sense of agency.

I am also a bank therapist with the NHS Primary Care Gambling Service and an associate psychotherapist with Headstuff ADHD therapy. I am also a qualified Life Coach & NLP practitioner
Therapy is not intended to impose solutions, but rather to offer individuals the opportunity to be heard, validated, and supported in identifying their own paths forward. It provides a safe and confidential environment where clients can share their experiences without fear of judgment. Ultimately, therapy serves as a means of fostering empowerment.

Individual therapy

Beginning therapy can often feel daunting, my approach is collaborative, focusing on your chosen areas of concern and selecting counselling and psychotherapy methods that best suit your needs. Together, we aim to identify the underlying factors contributing to your difficulties and empower you to initiate meaningful change.

If you are experiencing heightened anxiety, feelings of overwhelm, or find yourself unable to progress, therapy can help clarify the root causes of persistent anxiety, depression, negative thought patterns, and recurring behaviours. You may also wish to address issues such as people-pleasing tendencies, low confidence, diminished self-esteem, or a pervasive critical inner voice. Through our work, you will have the opportunity to gain deeper self-understanding and insight into what motivates you. This understanding can support positive, lasting changes that enhance your overall health and wellbeing.

The therapeutic environment provides an opportunity to examine and understand our individual psychological frameworks, including the factors that influence them, personal triggers, behavioural patterns, defence mechanisms, and maladaptive thought processes that shape each person’s unique ‘operating system’. Engaging in this reflective process is fundamental for facilitating meaningful and enduring positive change. Many of these underlying patterns or life scripts operate at a subconscious level and through exploration individuals can begin to make sense of themselves and gain a greater self-understanding. Such increased awareness contributes to the reduction of anxiety and depression as individuals become more attuned to their authentic selves.

Some of the most profound shifts are subtle, evolving over time as we regain or develop empowerment that was previously lost or insufficiently nurtured.

Specialism : Adult ADHD I have both personal and professional experience, as well as additional training, in supporting adults with ADHD. My approach involves assisting clients in understanding themselves within the context of neurodiversity, collaborating with them to work with their unique traits rather than against them. I focus on identifying maladaptive behaviours and unhelpful core beliefs that may hinder growth, intensify symptoms, or negatively impact wellbeing. Additionally, I am committed to promoting greater awareness and regularly collaborate with other ADHD organisations.

Inner-Child therapy

Inner child therapy is a gentle therapeutic approach that aims to help individuals explore and reconnect with aspects of themselves shaped by early life experiences, which may continue to influence their thoughts and behaviours.

Recognising unmet human needs from childhood enables individuals to examine the beliefs and coping mechanisms that may impede personal growth, as well as to identify overlooked emotions that can clarify patterns of thought, motivations, and triggers. Frequently, adults reflect on childhood experiences through a mature perspective, informed by a fully developed rational mind and emotional intelligence, which may diminish the significance of the emotional realities experienced during childhood. Considering the formative influence of caregivers, educational institutions, extended family, culture, religion, and society, inner child work seeks to validate these early experiences and afford them acknowledgment, compassion, and understanding. This process can give valuable insights into factors that continue to affect individuals in adulthood.

As a qualified holistic therapist ( Reflexology, Reiki and Hypnotherapy) I can also help clients to understand the mind and body connections and how physical and mental health interact together.
