About Me
Hello, I’m Sally, a qualified and experienced counsellor offering therapy for children, teenagers, and adults, in Northamptonshire and online www.patchworkpathways.co.uk
I provide a warm, supportive space where you or your young person can feel safe, understood, and accepted. As both a therapist and a mum, I understand the challenges families face and the worry that can come with seeing someone you love struggle. Therapy offers space to explore what may be happening beneath the surface and to build calm, confidence, and clarity.
My approach is integrative and person-centred, drawing from various modalities, including CBT, psychodynamic, systemic, attachment-based, and creative approaches. I tailor sessions to each individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. My gentle dog, Toffee, can also be present in sessions if this feels supportive. Before training as a counsellor, I worked as a teacher, which allowed me to see how emotions affect learning, relationships, and self-esteem.
I hold an MSc in Counselling Children and Young People and have a particular interest in how Adverse Childhood Experiences can influence emotional and physical wellbeing later in life.
I offer a free 20-minute introductory session so you can ask questions and decide whether I feel like the right fit for you.
